ECFC from peripheral blood of patients with PAD isolated in the presence of sCD146 restore blood flow in an animal model of hindlimb ischaemia. (A) Blood perfusion rate was determined by laser-doppler in hindlimb of nude mice with ischaemia. Animals were injected at day 1 with PBS or ECFC from peripheral blood of patients with PAD isolated in the presence of 50 ng/ml sCD146. Blood perfusion was determined in the ischaemic hindlimb and expressed as a % of the blood perfusion measured in the contralateral limb.
