Western blot analysis of TGFβ activation and fibrosis by knockdown of WNT family genes. Western blot was used to detect the phosphorylated SMAD2 protein (p-SMAD2), vimentin, and fibronectin proteins in HBlEpC cells at 7 days after infection with lentivirus containing shWNT2B, shWNT5A, shWNT10A, and shWNT11 constructs. For control, HBlEpC cells without infection (not-treated; NT) or infected with empty lentivirus (Empty) were used. β-ACTIN was used as a loading control. Molecular weight (M.W.) marker sizes (kD) are shown on the left.
