PL intensity vs distance on the ridge at 1.5387 eV for increasing heating power. PL intensity at fixed energy that corresponds to the red dashed line in Fig. 2 at 1.5387 eV for varying heating power. The beating due to interference of forward and backward propagating polariton condensates can be seen. Changes in the beating frequency are observed with the increasing heat laser power.
