  1. GWG was defined as the weight gain between 15 weeks and 32 weeks.

The model included the following independent variables: BMI pre-pregnancy, ANGPTL41, leptin1, VEGF1, triacylglycerol1, NEFA1, glycerol1, 16:01, 16:1 n-71, C18:01, 18:1 n-91, 18:3 n-31, 20:5 n-31, 22:6 n-31, 18:2 n-61, 18:3 n-61 and 20:4 n-61. In the backward selection, variables were removed for F values lower than 4. Only statistically significant predictors are shown. 1log transformed skewed data.
