Interleukin-6 protein levels in the basal chamber of HNEC-ALI monolayers from CRSwNP patients (A) and non-CRS control patients (B) expressed as total protein levels (pg/ml). Cells were exposed to 24 hours of Tumour Necrosis Factor- α (TNF- α) (1, 10, 100 ng/ml), Interferon-γ (IFN-γ) (1, 10, 100 ng/ml), Interleukin-1β (IL-1β) (1, 5, 10 ng/ml) and negative control (medium).
