(a,b) Conventional RT-LAMP as confirmed with the 3% w/v agarose gel electrophoresis, showing almost no difference in color development. (c,d) Paper microfluidic RT-LAMP (representative smartphone images) as confirmed with the 3% w/v agarose gel electrophoresis, showing substantial difference in color development with ZIKV over NTC and H1N1 (bar charts show the average G/R intensity values from thee different experiments, each using a different paper microfluidic chip, sample, and reagent.
