Comparison of transcript levels of inflammatory cytokines in white blood cells from fertile (N = 3) and infertile heifers (N = 3). TNFα, IL6, and CXCL5 were expressed at a significantly lower level in the fertile heifers when compared to the infertile heifers. POSTN and MCP1 were found to be expressed at similar levels in the fertile and infertile heifers (P = 0.77 and P = 0.37, respectively). *Denoted significant results (T-test, P < 0.05).
