Near-infrared-light-induced volume phase transition–temperature diagrams for 1 mm-thick Nd₂O₃ and Yb₂O₃ plate gels irradiated with 808 and 980 nm light at 3 W cm⁻² for 60 s, respectively. The phase transition temperatures were visually determined by the cloudiness of the irradiated areas.
