From: Parkin-dependent regulation of the MCU complex component MICU1
Half-life of MCU complex components. HeLa cells were transfected with MICU1-HA, MICU2-flag or MCU-flag. After 24 hours, cells were treated with 100 μg/ml Cycloheximide and either untreated or treated with 10 μM MG123. Cells were harvested after the indicated time points. Total proteins were extracted and subjected to western blot analysis with α-HA, α-flag or α-MCU antibodies.
