From: mTORC1 plays an important role in osteoblastic regulation of B-lymphopoiesis

Figure 1

B-Lymphopoiesis is impaired in eYFP-Rptorob+/− and eYFP-Rptorob−/− mice at 4 and 12 weeks of age. The frequency of B-cells, T-cells and myeloid cells in the bone marrow (BM) of (A) 4-week old and (B) 12-week old eYFP-Osx:Cre (CRE), eYFP-Rptorob+/− (HET), and eYFP-Rptorob−/− (HOM) mice was assessed using flow cytometry (n = 4–5/group). Data are expressed as percentage of total bone marrow cells. (C) The percentage of B220+ B-lymphocytes in the peripheral blood (PB) of 4- and 12-week old mice (n = 4–5/group). (D) The percentage of B220+ B-lymphocytes in the spleens of 4- and 12-week old mice (n = 4–5/group). Data are expressed as mean ± SEM. *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01, ***p < 0.005, ****p < 0.001, one-way ANOVA with Tukey’s post-hoc test.
