Extraction of parameter values for simulation time-activity curves with the 2TCM. The top plots show representative histograms of the distributions of parameter estimates K1, k2, k3 and k4 from fits with the 2TCM in an exemplary patient. Peak analysis of the histograms of all patients was used to identify the most common value of these parameters that were used as input for data simulation. Two different AIFs, displayed in the bottom two plots, were used for both data simulation and subsequent fitting.
