(A) Survival assays at 90 minutes performed in pooled human plasma (PHP) and heat-inactivated pooled human plasma (HI-PHP) shows that percent survival statistically significantly increases with higher concentrations of zinc in PHP. (B) Survival assays at 120 minutes show an increase in survival in PHP with the addition of zinc.
