Comparison of MFI values corresponding to autoantibody response (against five TAAs) in 50 healthy and 75 canine mammary tumour sera. (A–E) Scatter diagrams representing CMYC, MNSOD, PGAM1, TPI & MUC1 autoantibody response in canine mammary tumour (CMT) sera (n = 75) and healthy dog sera (n = 50). (F) At 1:200 dilution of sera samples, the multiplex assay comprising of 5 autoantigens, namely TPI, PGAM1, MUC1, MNSOD, & CMYC coupled microspheres, produced significantly higher average MFI signals in CMT sera (n = 75) compared to healthy dog sera samples (n = 50) (Mann-Whitney, p value < 0.0001). At cut-off value (avg. MFI of healthy sera + 2 SD), individual assays were found to be highly specific (96–98% specificity). The bars represent average MFI values and error bars represent standard error.
