The difference was statistically significant compared to the TLV group (p = 0.008). (b) Hyperemia in the hippocampus. UfD intensities reached an absolute maximum of +200% compared to the baseline level, which is significantly (p = 0.016) higher than for the TLV group (maximum of +100% for a very short period; median normalized AUC = +40%). (c) In the cortex the difference between the control group and the cooled subjects was less visible but still statistically significant (p = 0.048).
