IL-34 enhanced oxLDL-induced inflammation in BMDMs. (a) BMDMs were pre-incubated with IL-34 (50 ng/ml) or oxLDL (50 μg/ml) for the indicated times. IL-6, TNF-α and IL-1β mRNA expression were quantified by RT-PCR. (b) BMDMs were pre-incubated with IL-34 (50 ng/ml) or oxLDL (50 μg/ml) for the indicated times and then the cells were activated by lipopolysaccharide (LPS) for an additional 3 hr. Supernatants were collected after stimulation and IL-6, TNF-α and IL-1β concentrations were measured by ELISA.
