Strains WT168, ΔyvcK, ΔyfnI, ΔyvcK ΔyfnI ΔyvcK yfnI-T297A, ΔyvcK yfnI-T297D, ΔyvcK ΔprkC, ΔyvcK ΔprkC yfnI-T297D, ΔyvcK ΔprpC and ΔyvcK ∆prpC yfnI-T297A were grown at 37 °C in CE minimum medium supplemented with 0.5% gluconate and microscopy images were taken after 6 hours of growth.
