Relationship between mean summer temperature (°C) in England and Wales (1960 to 2015) and median number of farms infected (based on 100 simulations per year). Daily temperature data covering May to October for each grid point containing at least one farm with cattle and sheep were used to calculate the mean summer temperature in each case.
