Quantification of NADH incorporated in cell culture medium. The amount of NADH was measured in four different groups: only 1 mM NADH-dissolved medium (black, Ctrl), 1 mM NADH-dissolved medium with L929 cells (red, w/Cells only), 1 mM NADH-dissolved medium with Mg specimens (blue, w/Mg only), and 1 mM NADH-dissolved medium with both L929 cells and Mg specimens (cyan, w/Cells and Mg). (a,b) The amount of free NADH concentration in solution after 3 h (a) and for 24 h (b) of immersion. Statistical significance was described as *(p < 0.05), **(p < 0.01), and ***(p < 0.001).
