(E,F) No PAFAH expression in normal diet cusps. PAFAH within all three layers of the aortic cusp (200 µm). (G,H) No Alpha-SMA expression in normal diet cusps. Alpha-SMA expression was observed to be interspersed along the fibrosa of the aortic cusp (200 µm).
