Comparison of generating 64 × 64 cluster states from smaller building blocks when the storage capacity of 1200 × 642 qubits can be freely distributed among the involved stations. The multipartite approaches can profit from distributing the storage for more qubits to critical stations at the edges of the building blocks while the bipartite protocol cannot.
