Validation of (a,b) mRNA and (c,d) miRNA microarray results by RT-qPCR. Fourteen DEGs and 10 DEmiRs were tested for DA and non-DA to assess the validity of microarray experiments. The results are shown as ΔΔCt values relative to saline-counterpart and reference primer, GAPDH for mRNA and U6 snRNA for miRNA. Significance was evaluated using Student’s t-test (n = 3) and corrected for multiple comparisons using Benjamini-Hochberg procedure with false discovery rate of 0.05 (*p < 0.05, **p < 0.01, ***p < 0.001).
