Gene ontology (GO) analysis of miRNA target genes. The predicted targets of miRNAs were analyzed using REViGO at FDR ≤ 0.05. The disc color gradient (Blue to red colors) indicates the degree of GO enrichment corresponding to log10 p-value, while the disc size is proportional to the frequency of the GO term in underlying GO annotation database. The spatial arrangement of discs approximately reflects a grouping of GO categories by semantic similarity. Discs representing similar GO terms are clustered closer together than discs representing unrelated GO terms.
