The light grey contours depict the time-invariant mean dynamic topography (CNES-CLS2013 MDT) that ranges from 0.8 m to −0.8 m with a spacing of 0.1 m. Three of these contours (−0.1, −0.2 and −0.3 m) are highlighted in black as they trace the different branches of the NAC61 that continue into the northeast Atlantic.
