From: Emergence of supercontraction in regenerated silkworm (Bombyx mori) silk fibers
The expanded Cβ peaks of Ser, Tyr and Ala residues of (a) R-NoPS, (b) R-3.6PS, (c) R-3.6PS-SC and (d) N fiber samples in the hydrated state together with the deconvolution of the peaks. In addition to the contributions previously identified from the 13C CP/MAS NMR spectra, a new hydrated random coil contribution is identified in the wet samples using 13C DD/MAS NMR.
