From: Protective effect of oxytocin on LPS-induced acute lung injury in mice
Effects of OT on the gene expression of inflammatory cytokines in the lung tissues from mice with LPS-induced ALI. The mRNA expression of IL-1β (a), IL-18 (b) IL-6 (c), IL-4 (d), and IL-10 (e) was measured using RT-qPCR. The proteins expression levels of IL-1β and IL-6 were analyzed using the Western blot analysis (f). The proteins expression of IL-1β and IL-6 were quantified by measuring band intensities and displayed as fold increase relative to ACTIN (g and h).
