Phenotypes of transplastomic tobacco plants. (A) Seeds from wild-type (WT) or transplastomic plants (utrAP24-Gluc 2 and 6) were germinated on synthetic medium with (+Sp) or without (−Sp) spectinomycin (500 mg/L). Phenotypes were recorded 15 days after sowing the seeds. (B) Phenotypes of wild-type (left) and transplastomic plants utrAP24-Gluc 2 (center) and utrAP24-Gluc 6 (right) recorded 8 and 12 weeks after sowing the seeds.
