Duration of the searching and transportation phases of food (8 × 8 × 1 mm) that was placed on the food-releasing platform, or directly fixed on the tree trunks with an insect pin. Data are presented as mean ± SE. NS indicates no significant difference (P > 0.05). Note that all food items were cut during the transportation phase.
