The morphological characteristics of heart tissues from PM2.5 + saline group I and PM2.5 + CEOs group (400x). Mice heart tissues were obtained at day 3, 7, 14 after administration by PM2.5. Samples were stained using HE. Histopathological lesions and changes were assessed by histological analyses of six random fields per sample by optical microscope. The red arrows indicate sites of inflammatory cell infiltration. CEOs improved the disorder of myocardial fibers and the infiltration of inflammatory cells induced by PM2.5 exposure (n = 5).
