PSTMB inhibits LDHA activity and lactate production in HT29 cells under both normoxic and hypoxic conditions. The HT29 cells were cultured with the indicated concentrations of PSTMB with 20% (normoxia) or 0.1% (hypoxia) O₂ for 24 h. (A) The cells were lysed and equal amounts of protein were used as enzyme source for LDHA activity assay. ***p < 0.001 compared with normoxia control (1^st lane) and ^###p < 0.001 compared with hypoxia control (3^rd lane). (B) The culture media was changed with fresh media and cultured under the same condition for 1 h.
