Expression of COL2A1 and ACAN in skeletal cells derived from human fetal femurs chondrogenic culture at day 21, including control (cells cultured with no live-imaging), cells cultured over 21 days and live-imaging performed at day 7, and cells cultured over 21 days and live-imaging performed at both days 7 and 21. Normalisation was carried out with respect to ACTB to obtain relative gene expression and the gene expression on day 0 was assigned a value of 1 (as indicated by the dotted line). Average data from 3 independent samples is shown where error bars indicate the observed standard deviation. The Mann-Whitney test was used to calculate the level of significance at *p-value < 0.05.
