PFL suppresses cell survival of paclitaxel sensitive and resistant cells. (A) MCF-7, (B) MCF-7PR, (C) 4T1, (D) 4T1PR, and (E) MCF-7HH cells were treated with different concentrations of PFL at 24, 48 and 72 hours. Cell survival was measured by SRB assay to estimate IC₅₀ values. The experiments were repeated three times with 8 replicates in each experiment. Colony formation assay was performed by seeding 500–600 cells/well. Cells were fixed and stained using crystal violet (0.5%) after 9 days. Number of colonies formed in control and PFL treated wells were quantitated using Image J software. Representative Images of colonies and their quantification in (F-G) 4T1 cells and (H-I) 4T1PR cells. Data shown as mean ± SD; (n = 3). All the statistical comparisons were made by Student’s t test for unpaired samples.
