Disease activity index (DAI). The DAI score includes scales for stool consistency, body weight loss, fur texture, and animal posture. The DAI (mean ± SEM) was higher in the PBS group and the hUCMSCs group than in the healthy control group throughout the 25 days of observation with significantly difference (Supplementary Tables S1 and S2) (P < 0.05). The DAI was lower in the hUCMSCs group than in the PBS group throughout the 25 days of observation with significantly difference (Supplementary Table S3) (P < 0.05).
