  1. 10 mL of liquid CM was inoculated with 106 spores in a petri plates containing sterilized glass coverslips and incubated at 37 °C. The coverslips with adhering germinated conidia were taken out, fixed in PFA solution (3.7% paraformaldehyde, 50 mM phosphate buffer, pH 7.0, and 0.1% Triton X-100), observed and counted under differential interference contrast microscope. 100 cells were counted and repeated 3 times. Results are presented as mean ± SD.
