(a) PCA score plot and (b) LDA plot of REIMS-QTof MS spectral data (m/z 600–950) obtained from boiled beef muscle, brain, heart, kidney, large intestine and liver tissues negative ionisation and sensitivity mode. Each data point represents a single cut within the experiment of which there were 655 in total. 70 PCA components, 5 LDA components and a mass bin size of 0.5 Da were used. R2 = 0.975 and Q2 = 0.943 values were obtained for the PCA score plot.
