A transparent sheet is placed between one L-L interface to form a flat interface. (c) Initial state. (d) Moving up state. When the external voltage U1 is applied on the device, the L-L interface moves upwards. (e) Moving down state. When the external voltage U2 is applied on the device, the L-L interface moves downwards.
