Adhesion grade and assessment in a rat model of postsurgical intra-abdominal adhesion. Abdominal adhesions were induced by creating four 1–0 Prolene suture knots on the parietal peritoneum in a linear distribution. Each suture encapsulated approximately 2 cm of the parietal peritoneum.
