Eleven liver failure patients with HLH were identified in the study: Eleven Patients were included in statistical analysis of data in this study of: (1) met the 2012 Chinese Guideline Criteria for diagnosis and treatment of liver failure 1; (2) did not meet the criteria for diagnosis of HLH (HLH-2004)10 at admission but met the criteria during the course of treatment.
