(i) Left (Reaction A): DNA sample was treated with iodine, Right (Reaction B): DNA sample was treated with H2O instead of iodine. (ii) The treated DNAs were quantified by real-time PCR analysis, (iii) PT modification frequency of each PT site was calculated according to the formula.
