Activity of antimicrobial motif Pep-H against M. tb H37Rv. Mycobacterial cells were grown in vitro in the presence of different concentrations of Pep-H for 7 days and the percentage of viable bacilli left after the treatment was determined based on (a) absorbance measurements and (b) CFU enumeration. Percent survival was calculated as OD or CFU (Treated)/OD or CFU (Control)*100. Values are expressed as Mean ± S.D. of 3–4 independent experiments. For control (Untreated M. tb H37Rv), values were considered as reported earlier18.
