(A–H) Relative expression of immune response gene transcripts in chicken peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) stimulated with Pam3CSK4 (10 μg/ml) and/or poly I:C (50 μg/ml) for 48 h. A two-way analysis of variance was performed to determine the effects of treatment and time (n = 6/treatment). The Tukey test served as a post-hoc test. Multiplicity adjusted P values were calculated to minimize the alpha error (P < 0.05). Different superscripts above bars (mean ± SE) indicate significant effects of Toll-like receptor agonist(s) at that time point. The experiment was repeated twice and the results from the first experiment were taken for analysis.
