Adjusted means of white matter hyperintensity volume by kidney dysfunction groups. Adjusted means of WMH volume are shown with confidence intervals (adjusted for age, sex, smoking, body mass index, hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia, and the use of anti-coagulation or anti-platelet drugs). The calculated adjusted means, and their confidence intervals for the square root of white matter hyperintensity volume, were re-squared and Tukey’s post-hoc analysis was used to calculate p values. (eGFR, estimated glomerular filtration rate; UACR, urine albumin-to-creatinine ratio).
