Treatments are indicated by the different colours: light blue for N−W0/N−W−, and dark blue for NW0/NW−. Lines show saturated relationships. Arrows highlight N supply threshold over which reducing weed control alone or with N supply benefits gross margin (A) and yield (B). Positive values indicate that GM (A) or Yield (B) are higher in treatment plots than in control ones. While negative values indicate that higher gross margins or yields are obtained under farmers’ current strategies (controls).
