  1. §main plastic property but can be interchangeable; *plastics less dense than seawater; #does not contain any synthetic (i.e. plastic) polymers.
  2. Presence of marine microdebris was examined in 22 surface water tows and in the gastrointestinal tract of 60 Lemon damselfish, Pomacentrus moluccensis, collected near inshore and offshore reefs in the central region of the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area, Australia, in 2016. Assignment was based on the chemical type as determined by ATR-FTIR, results from compare analyses, and visual inspection of photographs. Items were classified as synthetic, semi-synthetic, or naturally-derived. NFPC = natural fibre reinforced polymer composites.
