From: Origins of Negative Differential Resistance in N-doped ZnO Nano-ribbons: Ab-initio Investigation
Band structures of 1D-periodic samples corresponding to the scattering regions of the four studied devices. Band-gap energy is largest when N dopant is at O-rich edge. Note also the variations of the VB and CB dispersions.
