Dapagliflozin regulates glucose influx into HK-2 renal proximal tubular epithelial cells. (a) HK2 cells were incubated with the indicated dapagliflozin concentration for the indicated times and were collected for glucose analysis. Glucose concentration in HK2 cells was assessed using the PicoProbe Glucose Fluorometric Assay Kit (BioVision). P < 0.05 (n = 3–5). (b) Glucose influx in HK2 cells incubated with 2 µM dapagliflozin for 36 h was measured using the 2-Deoxyglucose Uptake Measurement Kit (COSMO BIO Co. Ltd., Tokyo Japan) according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
