Sampling locations in the norther Baltic Proper for food chain components representing pelagia (BY31, Landsort Deep) and benthic system (B1 and Kvädöfjärden, Kv, both in the viscinity of the Askö Field Station). In this study area, the salinity is around 6 practical salinity units (PSU). See Fig. S1 (Supplementary Information) for the detailed map of the Askö area with stations used for collecting benthic invertebrates and sediment.
