Ku DEB supports Est1’s telomere association. (A) ChIP of Est1-myc. Anti-myc immunoprecipitations were performed on formaldehyde crosslinked WT, yku70∆, or yku70-R456E strains. Isolated DNA was analyzed by dot blotting and probed with a radiolabeled telomere specific probe or TyB to assess nonspecific interaction. The lines indicate areas in which the image was cropped to remove nonrelevant samples. Full-length blots are presented in Supplementary Fig. S16. (B) Quantification of the percent of telomeric DNA associated with Est1-myc normalized to WT for three independent experiments. Error bars represent ± SEM.
