Effects of BBR and herbal extracts on fatty acid uptake in HuH7 and 3T3-L1 adipocytes. Treated cells were pulse labeled for 20 s with LD540 (0.5 µg/mL) and further incubated in label-free medium for 30 min. Afterwards, cells were lysed with 0.05 M NaOH and LD540 accumulation was measured on a plate reader.
