The matrix effect of various matrices on the peak area of the deuterated internal standards. Matrix effect was determined by the ratio of the peak area of the deuterated internal standards in a matrix sample to the peak area of the deuterated internal standards in a water sample. Physiological PC, salt, a combination of both and plasma have been evaluated for both FIA-MS and LC-MS.
