Distributions of our ten trait variables, mean value and their coefficient of variation (CV) measured in this study: box counting dimension (unitless, Db with n = 8, DbCV with n = 8), lacunarity (unitless, L with n = 8, LCV with n = 8), branching angle (in °, BA with n = 5, BACV with n = 5), hyphal diameter (in µm, D with n = 5, DCV with n = 5), internodal length (in µm, IL with n = 5, ILCV with n = 5).
